The Summit of Jōb has a perfect climate and is its most exclusive planet, as its inhabitants are at the top of the Social scale. The Root of Jōb is a cold planet and lowest on the social scale, as its inhabitants are the poorest and sparsely educated. Inhabitants on the lower-class planets vie for dwellings on any of the other planets which are of higher class than theirs. Vagus is from the Summit of Jōb. The Janitor is from the Root of Jōb.
